What do I need to rent a car?

The driver must present the following documents at the Tahiti Easy Car agencie:

1- The original driver’s license, valid and complete for each driver, obtained for at least 3 years and be over 23 years old.

2-Payment: a VISA/AMEX credit card, MasterCard, a local check in the name of the driver or cash (CFP francs).

3- A deposit: a VISA/ AMEX credit card, MasterCard or a local check in the name of the driver. It is an imprint of the credit card that it is not hold on it.

Where is the Tahiti Easycar Agency located?
There are two Tahiti Easycar agencies; one is located within the airport of FAAA and the other one is located at the opposite of the airport.
What is the age required to hire a car?
The required age is between 23 and 70 years old, with more than three years old of license.
Are all fees included in the rental price?

Our rentals include unlimited mileage, third party insurance, vehicle damage insurance with deductible and taxes. The collection of the vehicle must be done in one of our agencies.

You will have to pay for any extras when picking up your vehicle, such as for example the cost of an additional driver or baby seat.

Can I extend my (rental/lease) contract?
If you want to extend your contract, you will have to go directly to one of our agencies to update it (signature of the extension contract and payment). If it happens that the extension is not carried out before or on the day of the planned return, the insurance is void and all damaged caused to the vehicle in the event of an accident will be invoiced to you.
Can I do the Ferry crossing to Moorea?
The rented vehicles have insurance that covers any accidents during the ferry crossing as well as on the roads of Moorea.
Is it possible to cancel my booking?
For all reservations with prepayment, a 10% cancellation fee will be charged. For all reservations made without payment, you can cancel it until D-DAY without any charge.
Is it possible to return my vehicle earlier than expected?
You can return the car earlier for extra charge of 3 030 xpf and if there is any refund, will make it on the credit card directly.
What happens in case of accident or theft with the car during my rental?
An accident report is placed in the glove box of the vehicle in order to fill in and sign it with or without the opposing party. You should then go directly to the rental office except in the event of hospitalization or detention by the police in order to establish the declaration of damage to the vehicle.
