What do I need to rent a car?
Required documents to be presented are :
- A valid, original and physical driving licence for each driver
- A payment method : VISA/MASTERCARD, AMEX or a local cheque in the driver’s name
- A security deposit method : VISA/MASTERCARD, AMEX or a local cheque in the driver’s name
Where are located the Tahiti Easy Car agencies ?
Tahiti Easy Car operates two agencies : One located at Tahiti-Faa’a International Airport and the other at the Auto Express Center in Punaauia
What is the required age to hire a car ?
The minimum required age is 23 years old, with at least 3 years of valid driving licence.
For Senior Drivers :
- Local renters aged over 70 : a medical fitness certificate is mandatory, along with a valid and original driving licence
- Foreign renters : an original, valid and physical driving licence is required, with no medical certificate needed
What does the rental price includes ?
Our rentals include unlimited mileage, third party insurance, vehicle damage insurance with deductible and taxes.
Is it possible to cancel my booking?
A 10% cancellation fee applies to any cancellation made more than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the schedule rental starting date and time, regardless of the reason.

Is it possible to return my vehicle earlier than expected?
It is possible to return the rental vehicle earlier than scheduled. As rental rates are based on a sliding scale, the Renter may be required to pay an additional amount, in addition to a processing fee of XPF 3 500.
What happens in case of accident with the car during my rental?
An accident report is placed in the vehicle’s glove compartment to be completed and signed, with or without a third party. You must then report directly to one of our agencies to file the vehicle damage claim, expect in cases of hospitalization or if the vehicle is held by the authorities.
